Pyrography is the art of burning images onto surfaces such as wood, leather, paper, gourds, etc. using a high temperature burner. Early burning was actually done with a poker, and was called poker art. Today most burning is done with an electrically heated "burner." Burning Kokopelli images on wood creates a very artful piece of work as well as a functional utilitarian object. Kokopelli images and scenes can enhance just about any wood object you can think of from wooden spoons to clocks and cutting boards. Contact me for any special ideas you might have.
