Where the Kokopelli legend lives on......

Pyrography is the art of burning images onto surfaces such as wood, leather, paper, gourds, etc. using a high temperature burner. Early burning was actually done with a poker, and was called poker art. Today most burning is done with an electrically heated "burner." Burning Kokopelli images on leather creates a very artful piece of work as well as a functional utilitarian object.
